Good Time Charlie’s Bar and Grill in Englewood

Called ahead and asked if there was a wait. Man said for 5 it will be 5 minutes We got there in 5 minutes and they told us go back to the tables and we will call you This was 5:30 we waited over an hour and I finally went to ask how much longer. Said we will sest you on a few minutes finally at 6:35 we were seated ...duh we waited over half an hour to get waited on. BUT at 7:50 we still did not have our food. Once it came ot was GOOD BUT WE WILL NEVER NEVER GO BACK!

This was a good place. For the last several months it's gone down hill. I took my daughter and son-in-law there 8/8 the joke was on us. Slow to even get a waitress. Ordered our meals an hour later still no food. People next to us gave up and left. We finally left too I am diabetic and had taken insulin so I had a problem.I will not ever go back there or recommend it to anyone else.Don't waste your time.

Only gets one star for the $2 margarita. Just waited an hour and ten minutes for food to receive nothing. They still asked for us to pay for the bill for our few drinks. Terrible service. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant until now!!!!!!!!!

Stopped by for the first time today & will definitely visit again. Very friendly place, the owner stopped to talk and the waiter (sorry we didn’t get his name) was great! We had chicken wings, beef on weck and chicken tenders as well as fries & coleslaw. Everything was delicious!

Clean, pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Had their haddock fish fry and clam chowder. Food was very good and portions generous.

We love going to Good Time Charlie's! The Friday Fish Fry is delicious, and so much comes with it like coleslaw, french fries, macaroni salad, potato salad and rye bread! The wings are amazing too! I really like the French Onion soup! What makes Good Time Charlie's so good, (besides the food) is how friendly everyone always is! They have really good specials, like everyday $2.00 Margaritas, early bird specials and right now they have a Dog Days of August special on Dollar Day Thursday!! You can get draft beer, a hamburger or cheeseburger, chili dog or tacos for $1.00!!! This is a really fun "hometown" place to go!!

The wings were amazing!!! Came here with my family and it was awesome. I’m telling you try the wings they were phenomenal!!

The staff and owners are awesome, love all the food we have had. The best Margaritas around ! The prices are low We recommend.

Came here for dinner with the fam and the food was amazing. Ordered this fried haddock and the portion size was huge. Wait staff was very friendly and timely with taking orders. Will definitely come back.

I had the haddock filet fish fry dinner. The piece of fish was huge and cooked to perfection. Included in the dinner was a very large portion of french fries, coleslaw, macaroni salad, potato salad, and a slice of the rye bread. The price was very low. The service was a little slow, but they were very busy. The only thing I didn't like was the very hard seats in the booths.

It was very delicious it was our first time there. We will definitely go back again..

Waited over 45 minutes for our meal , Fish fry was tasteless.Waiter was very nice.Place was very noisy.Under staffed.

We had to wait close to an hr if not more for our food. I ordered the fish fry and 2 of us ordered broiled fish. We got there around 630pm I guess we will have to come earlier. No Mac salad my fish fry was very small compared to other customers. We have been there many times b4 never had a problem. They need more help. When I mentioned the issues with the owner they offered me a drink or to take a an extra piece of fish home. The broiled fish was excellent I was told. If we go back we would go earlier for sure.

Great fish. Beautifully cooked.Thanks for being open during this uncertain time. We will take out again.

Great place. Ice cold beer in a frosty mug, good food and nice people. Lots of $1 items on Thursday and $2 margaritas every day.

Once we received our food it was OK. Got there at 5 o’clock place was pretty empty, waitress took our order and we waited over one hour. When we asked about our order she said they were very behind on a catering job so the kitchen had stopped cooking. No one came out and told us this. They continued to seat more people and take orders. Everyone waited well over an hour. The customers were talking among each other at other tables. The owner came back after the catering order was delivered. She started to clear our table and said nothing no apology no comment no anything. We told the waitress we should have been told the “kitchen was closed” for over an hour! She didn’t have the common courtesy to even respond. I can only assume they survive on traveling people that won’t be back. I would never go if I was a local.

Love the fish fry on Friday. The potato salad is awesome as well as the huge piece of fish. Also stopped by for hamburger night on Wednesday, hamburger, fries and a beer for $10, can’t beat it. Of course you have the $2 margaritas!! Everything tastes good and the folks are friendly.

Lived here forever and first time here. We were really impressed with how clean it was, the beer selection and quality of food and service. Prices were very good as well. We look forward to going back.

I had baked ziti with provolone...very good. Hubby enjoyed burger, fries and coleslaw. Efficient, friendly staff...cute basic decor. Popcorn was a treat😀

Went in at 3 not very crowded. Service very good the food very good beer very cold. Owner came to the table. We talked nice guy.

Edible but almost everything is deep fried and burgers are only cooked well done. Not to my liking

Great price for all that is included for the tasty Friday night fish fry. Margaritas $2.00 New England clam chowder is wonderful. Close by our are.

Real deal Buffalo fish fry. Beer battered haddock was spot on. Fries were good. Potato salad was good but slaw and macaroni salad were average, which is our only gripe. Clam chowder was good and reasonably priced.

This place is awesome. I went thereFriday night and met the owner. Very cool guy. The service,the food, and the atmosphere was very good. Go there and eat you won't be disappointed. I had the chicken parmesan with spaghetti a salad with ranch dressing. And beer. I'm even going back again next week. Prices are reasonable too. Signed Brooklyn.

It's Lent and a Friday, but nearly 2 hours of waiting, then waiting. I get it. Having said this, as a warning to all.....Food is very generous in portions and very tasty!

Not a bad little place the food is good, the people are nice I recommend it for a quick bite to eat. I recommend a Philly cheesesteak!

Called to reserve table for 8 adults and a small child....they don't take reservations but set it up for us. Best fish fries since leaving Buffalo, NY going back for other specials. Thanks to the Paines

We went for our first time and we’ll definitely go back. The owner welcoming us he was very attentive to his customers not only to us, I seen him like that all around us. We both had the fish fry and it was great not greasy at all. I do think they give you too many sides but that’s just me I’m sure most people enjoy it all.Just hope they’re consistent because it was definitely a nice experience.

Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service! This place is a true Buffalo, NY bar. The wings, beef on wec and fries were top notch!! I could not be happier!

We had to wait an hour in a half for our food that never came. We ended up leaving. I understand that it was Valentine's day and that it was very busy but there was very little communication or even an apology for why it was taken so long for our food. I have worked in hospitality for over 15 years and this was the worst customer service I have encountered. We will not be coming back.

Always get a good meal for the money, friendly service, Fridays are busy.

Great place. Always friendly. Excellent service and prices. Tuesday night is wing night. I highly recommend this place. The owner is awesome and always checks on his customers. I enjoy going here quite often.

My husband and I are here today. He had the shrimp basket (Good he said). I had the buffalo chicken salad. It was really good. We were there around 5:30pm not to busy, however more people were starting to come in. Friendly staff. Our waitress was quick. Food arrived quickly.. All in all a good place to eat and have a drink.
